Recruitment Officer – Sandton Junior Project Planner Bethal Graduates: Mechanical Engineering Driver Code 14 (PDP) – Pretoria Diesel Mechanic 5

Main Purpose: 

To facilitate and document the entire recruitment process from developing the advert to the appointment of the successful candidate.

Key Performance Areas:

Draft internal and external advertisements and send to Line Managers for approval.
Load approved adverts on internal and external job boards.
Process job applications from shortlisting to regretting unsuccessful candidates.
Schedule pen and paper assessments at the applicable venues.
Arrange and facilitate competency based interviews.
Travel to different sites to perform duties.
Collate relevant candidate documentation and do the necessary compliance checks prior to appointment.
Continuous liaising with Line Management and candidates.
Coordinate with Talent and Training department to support project and internal programme requirements.
Any other job related duties as requested from time to time.

Preferred Requirements:

Grade 12/N3.
Qualification is Human Resources, Business Administration or Psychology would be advantageous.
3 Years’ experience in a recruitment department.
Experience with online job boards.
Experience in recruiting for technical positions (e.g. Stores, Projects, Artisans, etc.) would be advantageous.
Knowledge of recruitment processes.
Knowledge of competency based interviews.
Knowledge of Labour Relations and POPIA legislation.
Knowledge of advertising on various job boards and newspapers.
Ability to work productively without close supervision.
Ability to work according to procedures and specifications.
Good written and verbal communication skills
