Main purpose:

To oversee all national investigations to ensure efficiency and quality of investigations into high profile maladministration and corruption within State institutions. To lead and direct the national caseload and maintain the viability of the SIU as a going concern. To provide line-of-sight leadership for staff members and lead stakeholder interactions and business development for national investigation operations

Minimum qualification and experience: 

Honours Degree in Accounting, Legal, Forensic Investigation or relevant NQF 8. Registration with relevant Investigation bodies and Project Management qualification would be advantageous. Eight to ten years’ experience inf Forensic Investigations, of which five years’ is at senior management level. Extensive experience in public sector investigations.
