Main Job Functions:
Source parts 

Place order for job card and additional parts.
Order Parts within 24 hours of receiving a purchase order.
Once received, check for quality to inform the decision to keep or not.
Place telephonic orders for new parts.
Follow up daily to manage delivery of orders.
Obtain Letter of authorization must from supplier on back order of parts and forwarded to CSA and Workshop Manager.
Give continuous feedback to CSA on the status of orders.
Negotiate additional discounts to prevent vehicles from being written off.

Cost of a Selling target

Negotiate the best possible price with scarp-yards. 
Ensure that the cost of sales is below 35% for the month.

Ensure vehicles are booked according to Company Standards

Generate “order for work” and fax/email to dealership.
Follow up daily with the dealership on progress.
On completion of the job, ensure the vehicle is returned to Renew It

Requirements
Critical experience:

3 +  years motor industry parts buying experience

Minimum education:

Matric

Technical (systems) knowledge required:

Microsoft suite – intermediate
TMS – production/ panel shop system
Online system
