Cashier (Seasonal)

Job Purpose

In conjunction with the Pool Supervisor, undertakes a cashier function, which includes issuing of tickets and collection of revenue in compliance with Council procedures, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibility Areas

In conjunction with the Pool Supervisor, undertakes sale of tickets and coupons to the public.
Undertakes pool booking by receiving and diarising events, advising the Clerk of bookings and
communicating with the Pool Supervisor.
In conjunction with the Pool Supervisor, attends to members of the public.
Informs the Pool Supervisor of unacceptable behaviour by the public and assists the Pool
Supervisor in an emergency by telephoning the relevant personnel.

Issues permits to the public.
Essential Requirements

An appropriate level of secondary education.
3 months relevant experience in handling cash and ability to interact with the members of the public.

Preferred Requirements

Matric/Grade 12.
6 Months relevant experience.
