Channel Sales Manager (South Africa)

This role brings you to opportunities to travel to visit customers, attending events and support sales efforts by providing sales guidance.
The position requires active interaction and cooperation both within Console Connect organizations at all levels and across all regions, as well as with our external customers, partners and industry bodies.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Understanding of Cloud/ IOT offerings and formulating plans to hunt new prospects/leads
Identify new customers, services, products, and business potentials
Drive sales development through skilful implementation of CRM, E-commerce tools incl.
implementation of best practice sales techniques;
Ensure that close relationships are developed and maintained with International Key Accounts
Excellent leadership and communications skills able to inspire and with passion of developing others
For newly implemented customers, support the team to ensure all necessary documents are signed and customer related information is collected and correctly shared with the provisioning team
Support the team when coordinating with the revenues assurance team and making sure that customers pay in time according to their current/expected run-rate
Work closely with Presales and Product Teams to ensure our products are in line with Customer Expectations and market demand.
Ability to fully understand and keep up to date with changes across the market and to translate insights into actions;
Excellent presentation and selling skills with the ability to effectively influence both with customers and internally;
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues fostering cross market cross-functional relationships;


Minimum of 10 years’ experience in cloud sales, channel partners and business development.
Firm understanding of cloud technologies and market trends.
Track record of closing deals with Senior IT Director and C-Level Executives
Experience working with Cloud/DC/XAAS/Partner environment
Conveys a professional image and maintains a strong company attitude.
Highly self-motivated, needing minimal support, training and guidance from management; however, keeps them appropriately informed.
Strong Market knowledge and Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Fluent in English. Other Regional languages are an add on.
