Minimum Requirements

Grade 12
A tertiary qualification will be advantageous
Knowledge of Syspro, Translution, Chep, Tereoka & Afrisoft quiry will be advantageous
Minimum of 1 year performing the functions of a Cold Store/Logistics Manager
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Good health as the working environment is in a cold store
Be able to motivate a team
Experience in IR matters
Be able to execute discipline within the workplace

Duties and Responsibilities

Checking of daily loading schedule to ensure all trucks are utilised 100%
Scheduling and coordinating trucks with Transport company, as and when needed
Ensuring good housekeeping at all times
Daily inspections of the holding room and loading area, and reporting of any deviations
Ensuring trucks are loaded correctly
Ensuring all cold storage files are up to date
Ensuring Invocom meetings are being done and being filed, weekly
Management of team members.
