Connectivity and Telematics Specialist

The Main Purpose of the Job is to actively work with and manage all services related to Volvo Connect and Telematics.

Reporting: This role will report to the Portfolio and Contract Manager.

Job Objectives:

Actively manage and maintain the Volvo Connect Portfolio.
Quotations and activations of Volvo Connect services.
Training to sales staff and customers on the usage of Volvo Connect.
To build sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication with the sales team and customers.
Invoicing and general administration of the Volvo connect Portfolio.
Monthly reporting of the Volvo connect portfolio.
Customer queries of all aspects within the Volvo Connect portfolio.
Actively managing accounts receivables on the active portfolio.
Support function to customers and being the intermediary when cases are escalated to Volvo Connect support in Sweden.
Ensure compliancy for auditing purposes on the administration side of Volvo Connect.
Ensure the data integrity is met to the highest standard for the entire Volvo Connect Portfolio.

Qualification  & Job Experience:

Grade 12.
Financial and administrational experience.
3 – 5 years’ experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
Microsoft office (Intermediate to advanced will be advantageous).
Volvo Connect or vehicle monitoring experience will be advantageous.

Key Competencies:

Transport Industry Knowledge.
Financial Experience (SAP knowledge advantageous).
Computer literate – Microsoft Office – Essential (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Excel Advanced.
Planning & Organizing.
Meeting deadlines.
Interpersonal skills.
Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
Ability to Change/Adapt.
Effective Time Management.
