Credit Controller – CDC Cape Town

The Credit Controller is responsible for collecting the outstanding debt ensuring in the day-to-day duties such as timely payments, processing and reconciling of invoices.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 or relevant qualification
Previous experience in Credit Control
Business English: Fluent
MS Excel (Advanced)’ MS Word
Code 8 Motor Vehicle License
Experience in other top-end accounts will be advantageous.
Must have experience in the FMCG environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Collect trade debt

Confirm payment of all new and existing customer accounts
Control allocated accounts and ensure that all outstanding monies owed to the company is collected
Log and address customer queries
Maintain good customer relations

Request credit limits

Request increase/s of credit limit

Liaise with customers

Follow up on overdue accounts
