Customer Service Officer – Online Shop

About the Job
Babylonstoren has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, friendly customer service officer with professional work ethic. The successful candidate will join the online shop’s dynamic team.
A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12).
A relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
At least two years’ experience in customer services with an e-commerce background would be advantageous.
An engaging disposition with professional telephone etiquette, and the ability to maintain positive interpersonal relations.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work under immense pressure.
Ability to multitask.
Available to work over weekends.
Receive telephone calls.
Handle queries via e-mail and telephonically.
Handle personal shopper functions and errands.
Administer the online shop’s support platforms (Zendesk, Freshdesk, etc.).
Handle daily administrative tasks in support of the operational team.
