Delivery Centre: Team Lead

Job Description

This role requires a balance of utilising your technical knowledge and translating this into a leadership capacity. The key component of this role is to ensure the successful performance of your team, focusing on ensuring high quality of work, be effective at operational line management and contribute to continuous improvement. 
Managing and optimising your team’s workflow and utilisation to ensure the allocation, completion and delivery of audit work to a high standard and quality within an appropriate time frame, and identify outliers based on the reporting available
Assist with the development, review and delivery of training to your teams and providing guidance and mentorship to the wider teams in the Delivery Center. Take on role of facilitator for delivering training programmes as required.
Be pro-active in identifying and raising risks and escalate where required.
Coordinate with centre lead to drive the consistency of quality in regions.
Support the Africa DC with wider operational tasks as and when required.
Supporting, advising and monitoring team members in the completion and delivery of a range of audit tasks and undertaking quality check of team work.
Support the team members to manage and deal with any issues raised by engagement teams ensuring timely response and working in partnership with them to resolve. Working as the escalation point to the engagement teams.
Acting as the Leader and Coach for a few team members and collating appropriate performance related materials for formal performance reviews.
Participate in the recruitment process, interviewing potential new starters and supporting with the review of assessment Centre/tests as required.

Qualifications

CA (SA) with minimum 1 year post articles experience.
