Minimum Requirements

Create and implement comprehensive business plans which include cost-effective operations and market development activities
Create and execute the Business Units’ business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
Help the board and CEO with strategic advice? providing them with accurate view of the market and the Units future
Monitor the Business Units’ financial performance, investments and other business ventures
Achieve company growth projections and targets in a dynamic and competitive environment.
Build good relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities
Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives, providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the business units in ways that strengthen its profile
Perform analysis of problematic situations and develop solutions to them

Duties & Responsibilities

A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, finance, or a similar qualification is preferred.
Experience in managing and handling multiple Business Units and or businesses in an organisation.
Over 10 years of experience as Managing Director or in another senior managerial role
Experience in having transformed, repositioned, fixed and grown businesses.
Experience in the management of senior management.
Understanding the intricacies of financial management.
Commercial acumen
EXCO experience is advantageous.
