We are looking to place a Duty Manager, to overlook our F’B + BOH / Kitchen activities.

Qualifications:

Matric Certificate

Experience:

Proven food and beverage management experience
Min of 1 -2 yrs’ exp
Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel ’ Outlook, Restaurant management software, POS
Strong Admin skills

KPA's

Back of House Operations / Kitchen:
To ensure that all chef des parties are familiar with the day-to-day’s requirements.
To ensure that the dining room/ restaurant personnel are “standing by” when delicate dishes are served.
Maintaining that communication runs smoothly between kitchen and restaurant staff.
To ensure that each cook receives the correct orders for the appropriate tables

Management

Ensuring that timetables, leave rosters and attendance registers are up-to-date.
To ensure that all maintenance problems are timeously reported and followed up with
To ensure that all statutory, as well as company, hygiene regulations are being strictly adhered to.

Learning and Development

To ensure that regular on-the-job training is carried out so that subordinate staff perform their duties correctly.
To further your own knowledge of management methods and principles to ensure future advancement and further upgrading in management standards for the profession as a whole.

Customer Service

Ensure the quality of services in accordance with the company standard.
Ensure to align the food inventory with all customers’ needs.
