Education and experience
NQF Level 3/5 Electrical Engineering
Qualified Electrician
A Wireman’s license would be advantageous.
2+ Previous experience on Machine tool (CNC, milling, lathe and grinding machines etc.)
Main responsibilities
New electrical installation (wiring, testing, and commissioning of equipment).
Maintenance of site and factory electrical reticulation.
Fault finding and repair of electrical breakdowns with emphasis on CNC machine.
Pre – planned preventative maintenance of electrical equipment and machines.
Preform trade related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Audit factory and draw up a task list to complete findings.
Required Skills
Good communication skills.
Attention to detail (Meticulous and accurate).
Ability to work under pressure.
Problem- solving: Ability to identify faults; problems, determine possible solutions and fix faults.
