Head, IT Portfolio – Johannesburg

JOB DESCRIPTION

To advise, plan ’ report on the assigned IT Portfolio technology enabling implementation of the Business strategy. To deliver the portfolio technology mandate across the Group, overseeing delivery execution in country and shared execution.. To manage and take ownership of the fit for purpose portfolio technology toolbox throughout the full life cycle. To verify and evaluate local market outcomes to measure the efficacy of the toolbox and improve and innovate as required. Lliase with various stakeholders across SBG and countries on architecture, IT risk, IT security, programme management and financial management.

QUALIFICATIONS

First Degree in Information Studies or Information Technology
Experienced in multi-country engagements with focus on oversight of strategic programme delivery across countries
8-10 Years’ knowledge of domain appropriate technology strategies and proven application of service management processes and frameworks
8-10 years knowledge of domain operations, and understanding of ecosystems and suppliers and broad technical knowledge of the technology, solutions and service catalogue consumed by countries
Extensive travel required into designated countries
