Overview of duties

Gain practical experience by assisting with day-to-day operations and tasks within the department including;
Administrative tasks: Support administrative functions including purchasing of kitchen stock, assigning catering requests, drawing up menus, updating of cleaning rosters and cleaning schedules.
Taking refreshments to meeting rooms and clearing the meeting rooms of any items from the kitchen.
Prepare, cook, and serve hot and cold meals.
Preparing serving stations at AHRI canteen, Ilala and meeting rooms.
Promote and maintain high standard of hygiene in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Matric or Senior Certificate
National Diploma or N6 in Hospitality / culinary Management / Catering Services.
