HR Business Partner

Western Cape, Full Time

Advise functional departments on topics such as talent management, engagement and performance management.
Provide insight and analysis on people related measures to guide and develop key people focus areas for the business.
Support and advise on the implementation of Global HR Tools.
Provide HR input for Business Planning processes.

RECRUITMENT

Ensure a first class recruitment and selection process experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Partner with the hiring managers to ensure that accurate information is used for the recruitment process, thereby ensuring targeted and quality recruitment.
Conduct professional Performance/Strengths based interviews (utilise Case Studies, Candidate Testing & Reference Tests).
Analyse the success and improvement areas of the recruitments in your perimeter to develop targeted recruitment initiatives if needed.

TALENT MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

Collaborate with Line Managers to identify training needs. Based on this analysis determine quality training and development solutions.
Support the implementation of global training initiatives and tools, e.g. People Management Program, Strengths Workshops.
Provide regional trainings aligned with the international offerings.
Advocate strength-based training and development philosophy.

Managing employment relations cases to provide a pragmatic solution for both the employee and business.
Keep up to date with employment legislation and manage compliance within the relevant frameworks.
Ensures that HR polices are communicated in timely manner in line with local requirements.

EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:

Minimum of 3 years experience, in compensation and benefits, preferably working closely with senior leaders required
Solid HR business partnering experience , preferably in an FMCG environment required
Strong HR Information knowledge and experience including SAP, advantageous
Proven success in executing HR strategy at a national level.
Experience in briefing and working with external partners for recruitment and development.
Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), including presentation and training skills.
Team player who has experience in facilitating cross-functional collaborations.
Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
Positive, can do attitude, and ability to be flexible to support business needs
