PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Design and deploy Quality Control Plan per manufacturing process to support reduction of demerits at 0 for Alstom Customer and the Zero Defect Program
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES  
Accountability & Authorities

Manage Industrial Quality activities at site level (IQ team + process + KPI).
Manage site PFMEA’s and control plans.
Build, implement & regularly update Quality Control Plans with Return of Experience (REX) of previous project execution.
Ensure customer approval, documents validation & compliance of the manufactured products before shipping.
Car History Book : Develop, maintain and improve car history books contents
Perform Line Quality Animation with cross function team.
Lead and coach cross functional team members on problem solving methodology.
Record inspection results in the industrial tools as required & drive process improvements.
Manage internal and external non-conformities.
Support manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspection, delegation of control (Training, audit, …) & Position Quality Animation with EPU manager.
Support special process maturity
Prepare and present weekly and monthly Industrial Quality KPI reports at site and project level.
Drive process improvements through problem solving and lean principles
Managing the IQ team’s work station audit schedules and analyzing trends.
Develop IQ processes as per Project needs.
Leading APSYS development.
Management of site documentation on the central index.
Drivin work station audits

Performance measurements

Defects per Unit reduction (aligned to Performance Management Cycle objectives) and External demerit objective.
Cost of Non Quality (QONC) objective (for CONQ S1.1 & S1.3).
APSYS score for Industrial scope.
Car History Book accuracy
Quality management System
IQ competency progression

 MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements / Experience
Mandatory:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Desirable:

Techncical drawing knowledge

Mandatory:

Process knowledge on Quality and at industrial level.
3-5 Years experience within the Quality function in an engineering sector
SAP
Proven track record of audits
Proficient in English read, write and speak

Desirable:

Lean Six Sigma
Rail Experience
Kaizen application knowledge
Problem solving techniques in industrial shop floor

Competencies & Skills

International mindset & fluent in English.
Ability to work in a matrix organization.
Able to work under pressure.
Work  to support operational requirements
Excellent MS office skills  (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Office)
Local  travel if and when required
