Summary

International Company is recruiting an IT Operations Engineer/Team Lead with 8 years minimum experience.
Contract start asap in 2023 until December 2026.
Only South African citizens or Permanent Residents with SA ID number may apply.
Hybrid work between Midrand, Menlyn ’ Rosslyn and remotely from home.
Must be willing and able to travel internationally.
Salary market-related and negotiable.

Description

Action and resolve IM (Incident Management) tickets.
Action and resolve CIM (Critical Incident Management) tickets as required.
Raise and lead tasks PM (Problem Management) tickets as identified.
Action and coordinate CM (Change Management) tasks and tickets as required.
Assist user departments in drafting system requirement documentation based on business processes.
Perform daily system handover and start-up tasks to ensure operational readiness of systems.
Ensure that all processes have been investigated / considered in obtaining the specifications of the user requirements.
Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives.
Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements.

Minimum Requirements
Requirements:

IT Degree and/or relevant qualifications.
8 years in a similar role and at least 5 years of Team Lead experience.

Technical skills and experience required:

Experience with enterprise network configurations.
Experience with Databases.
Experience with ITIL processes.
IT experience delivering operations support services.
Expert knowledge of modern browsers like Edge Chromium and Google Chrome.
Experience with browser extensions and governance via GPO and policies.
Experience with securing web browsers on different OS platforms.
A sound knowledge of IT security requirements for enterprise IT solutions.
Working knowledge of Active Directory, policies, and support procedures.
Experience with Scripting (Powershell, Bash etc.).

Working knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Working knowledge of end-user computing environment.
Microsoft Active Directory and GPO.
Experience with Windows Client Technologies (such as Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Browsers, Scripting, Registry, System Management Tools).
Working knowledge of the following communication and connectivity systems: Microsoft TCP/IP, networking protocols, Internet application connectivity.
