Key Outputs

Review of all MARC equipment life cycles, including Full lifer cost and Full life revenue
Identify and report deviations, develop and implement mitigating actions to ensure MARC financial performance is maintained (with regards component management)
Forecast and monitor machine performance based on planned component change out programme
Monitor and review non MARC and relevant customer machines component lives and forecasts
Generate 0-5yr component forecast for the enterprise. Liaise with product support, Parts LoB, BRC and Caterpillar to ensure resource availability
Assist relevant sites with the implementation of best practise life cycle management strategies and processes
Drive the overall forecast accuracy
Overall component forecast in AMT
Review market forecast analysis to determine customer volume pattern
Review and management of forecast related CRPRO and FDO orders
Effectiveness of the demand planning process
Achievement of Plan for Every Serial Number (PLESN) targets
AMT data integrity review and management
Liaise with operations and LoB, on site, to develop plans
Liaise with CAT where necessary. Escalate issues where appropriate
Provide assistance and feedback to customer’s related to fleet performance and life cycles
Effective and efficient management of component planners and life cycle team within the Equipment Management Group
Reporting and monitor MARC Full Life Cost and Full Life Revenue movement and exceptions
Identify and implement mitigating actions to address deviation.
Monitor and report on non MARC fleet life cycles
Overall managed sites component forecast
Liaise with options to ensure accuracy of forecast
Ensure site personnel keep AMT data current – assist with training where required
Review relevant AMT data for integrity, identify deviations and correct, escalate where required
Conduct regular reviews of site AMT use, identify gaps and address through training or other appropriate interventions
Identification of deviations for set or expected parameters (equipment performance, component life cycles, cots/ton etc.) in a timely manner
Drive the overall forecast accuracy
Overall component forecast in AMT
Review market forecast analysis to determine customer volume pattern
Review and management of forecast related CRPRO and FDO orders
Effectiveness of the demand planning process

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

Grade 12 (diploma or equivalent an advance) Diploma in Engineering or Business management (or equivalent)
Experience in business management
5 years operational experience (customer on site or OEM)
5 years equipment management experience (mobile fleets) in a direct or support role
