Marketing Cloud Account Executive – South Africa

Primary Responsibilities

Winning mainly net new Marketing Cloud business revenue within Enterprise accounts according to the business plan
Actively develop partnerships in the partner ecosystem to drive new business
Ability to do an initial demonstration of the Marketing Cloud capabilities
Position Marketing Cloud product and services and improve Customer’s impact
Negotiate and create product and service orders, contract addendums and renewals
Lead and develop existing contacts and create ambassadors
Weekly accurate forecast to sales management
Create business plan in collaboration with the extended team in order to drive net new revenue and ensure customer success

Position Requirements

Understanding of a Sales environment with experience in meeting quarterly and/or annual targets
5-10 years experience of Software Solution sales.
Ability to negotiate commercial contracts and maintain competitive pricing
Thorough knowledge of MS Office software including Project, Access, Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Fluent in English
Degree or equivalent experience required

Preferred Requirements:

Have worked at a strategic level in account or relationship management with enterprise customers
Exceptional presentation and communication skills with experience of engaging with 'C' level executives
Ability and experience with critical thinking and complex decision making
Consistent track record of exceeding sales quota preferably (digital marketing) SaaS solutions
Ability to negotiate commercial contracts and maintain competitive pricing
Confirmed commercial success in working with executives, VP and ‘C’ level
Ability and confirmed experience with strategic thinking and complex decision making
