Job Profile:

To provide a cost-effective Draughting services while doing design of moderate complexity at a level of difficulty that is suited to an experienced draughtsman

Key Performance Areas:

Create 3D concept / presentation models and drawings for design engineers and customers.
Generate component ’ assembly 3D models and detailed 2D drawings.
Creating interface designs, models and drawings on Solid Edge, Solid Works and Pro-Engineer.
Integrate complex models and layouts.
Translate drawings or models from suppliers into integrated models and drawings to verify compliance within plant.
Provide technical guidance in respect of problem solving and decision-making.
Adhere to procedures, design specifications, safety and quality standards and customer requirements.
Responsible for configuration of models and drawing within Teamcenter.
Comply too ISO 9001/2008 quality requirements.
Broad and in-depth knowledge of relevant technical drawings.
Broad knowledge of variety of equipment.
Workable knowledge of material types.
Practical knowledge of multi-disciplinary engineering application.
Ability to plan layout and presentation of drawings and models
Develop Work methods ’ techniques
Develop Policies ’ Procedures

Requirements

Working knowledge of drawing office best practices.
Working knowledge of Solid Edge, Solid Works and Pro-Engineer
Excellent organising skills
Be physically and mentally fit to work in nuclear and processing facilities (e.g. be registered as nuclear and chemical workers when required)..

Qualifications and Experience:
Education:

Grade 12 or N2 Technical qualification with maths
Preferred- N6 Technical qualification

Experience:

5 years Draughting experience
