Job Description
The purpose of the role is for the incumbent to install and repair production machinery using specialized tools such as welders, hydraulics bolters, and align and replace machine individual parts. 

Ensure the leanest operation
Installing and disassembling machinery
Repairing and replacing defective machine parts.
Reading and implementing instruction on assembling machinery.
Communicating with supervisors and machine operators regarding the status of different machinery.
Ensuring machines work properly.
Move equipment and machinery as needed throughout your shift either manually or with the proper and safe use of equipment.
Package and categorize machine parts after taking them apart with accuracy and according to the company’s standards and specific project requirements.
Clean up at the end of shift to make sure your job site remains well-organized and free of unnecessary clutter.
Ensure all maintenance job are completed in a manner that’s safe and according to the latest workplace safety regulations, laws and requirements.
Troubleshoot equipment to establish problems and find solutions.
Assisting with emergency response and evacuations.

Qualification

Trade tested Millwright

Knowledge and Skills

3-5 years experience as a Millwright
Experience in CNMMS
General milling and turning experience
Knowledge of boilers and air compressors
Basic welding pneumatics and hydraulics
Knowledge of meat processing equipment will be an advantage
Ability to work unsupervised
In-depth mechanical skills
Trouble shooting and problem- solving skills
Analytical skills
