Objectives

The purpose of this role is to provide general administrational support to the Operation and Maintenance (O’M) team in South Africa.

Primary Responsibilities

The Operations and Maintenance Administrator will report functionally to the Team Lead Operations – O’M, in South Africa, while the line reporting will be to the Head of Operations and Maintenance-EMEA, based in Athens, Greece.

Overall administration of the Operations and Maintenance Department´s needs in South Africa, including:

Collecting, reviewing, formatting and issuing customer reports (regular and ad hoc)
O’M document control and registry keeping
Supporting the procurement of tools, materials and services for O’M
Management of site related expenditures
Ownership of O’M folder in the company´s server
Drafting of the internal O’M reporting, on a monthly frequency
Administration of the O’M company cell phones
Administration of the O’M company credit cards
Administration of the O’M company vehicles (leased or owned)
Guidance and supervision of the O’M Administration Intern
Assisting the SHEQ specialist in all Quality Assurance issues and processes, related to O’M
Other O’M administrative tasks

Your Profile
Qualifications and Experience

Technical, Business Administration or similar training
Working experience on administration / general support on a technical or operations environment
Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written), knowledge of Afrikaans
Good IT skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Emails, etc)
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Responsible and reliable character
Able to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
Willing to be on reach at all times

Desirable Attributes

Experience in working in the O’M of power production facilities
Working experience in the PV industry
Experience in client management ’ relations
