Purpose of the Job
To manage and supervise operations in a cost-effective, safe environment in support of Engen’s objectives and optimisation of profit opportunities, in a safe and compliant manner

What you’ll have done before:

NQF Level 6 (Diploma in Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Operations or relevant)
3 years’ experience in Plant Operations environment
Understanding of Operations & Stock L/G
Experience in HSEQ MS system
Knowledge of OSH Act, ISO 9002 & SABS
Required to work in Plant/ Manufacturing environmen

Advantageous:

Plant Supervisory experience
SAP knowledge and experience

What you’ll be doing:

material and storage handling
product distribution
assets management
Ensure that all quality standards and procedures are met as required
Manage team and ensure capability development and performance
Ensure that safety standards are maintained in operational area by staff, contractors and service providers
Foster and sustain effective working relationships and rapport with all stakeholders
Drive the development of competent working team
champion the execution of Engen’s policies
