Job description:

Back office Personal assistant for Life, Investments and medical.

Responsibilities:

Answering/redirecting all incoming calls and taking messages
Arrange appointments with client or prospects on behalf of the Adviser
Prepare prospective client files as needed
General office management assistance
Receive, direct and relay messages via phone/email
Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
General administration
Handling of claims administration
Receiving, distributing, and processing all incoming and outgoing mail

Skill sets required:

Grade 12
Computer literate (MS Office – Excel, Word and Outlook)
1-2 years’ experience as a receptionist and personal assistant
Professional attitude and appearance
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Must be punctual
Client services and good telephone etiquette
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent organisational skills
Experience in short term insurance (negotiable)
Own vehicle (negotiable)
