Key Responsibilities:

Provides technical support to the field sales force by bringing deep or specific product and application knowledge in order to:
Understand customer design
Configure ’ put Schneider products in the customer specifications, convert an existing specification and close a deal
Act as a Technical Consultant to our customers to find optimal solutions for their needs.
Generate decisions on technical feasibility in coordination with customers, Sales ’ Marketing as well as our specialists in Anglophone Africa
Consult with customers to create custom-fit solutions and act as Technical Advisor.
Become Sales Lead in proposals and strategies for Energy Management opportunities, products and solutions.
Present entire system solutions as well as individual products to customers and Consultants.
Plan and implement training and coaching for customers, consultants and sales teams.

Experience in Building Management Systems within Energy Management
Outgoing individual who can build relationships with customers, services, projects and consultants.
Capable of engaging in hands-on work that demands focus and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Alternatively, extensive industry experience will be considered in Building Automation / HVAC Controls
Strong technical and commercial skills.
Applicable work experience with software, and/or electronic engineering.
Software aptitude/awareness is important as solutions are configurable products.
Any experience in programming, configuration software development would be a benefit.
