Production and Logistics Coordinator Sales Supervisor

Western Cape, Full Time

Ensuring that the Tekkie Town Marketing campaigns and Visual Merchandising production is project managed including the distribution / logistics to get campaigns / VM elements to stores. 
This role is also responsible for the management of the Merch Packing team based at the DC who are responsible for the packing and sending out of merch material to stores (incl Visual Merchandising assets, stationery and promotional items)
This role is instrumental in coordinating and reporting on opex and capex budget spend as allocated to campaigns / new stores etc as agreed including liaising with suppliers and cost analyses.

They will be detail orientated and able to work and manager various work stream which make up a successful and timeous campaign execution.


A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent is an essential requirement.
Project Management diploma / certificate would be advantageous

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

3-5 years’ experience as a Marketing assistant/coordinator in executing in-store campaigns from concept to production within a retail environment.
Established working relationships with suppliers of marketing materials will assist.
Experience in working within a Marketing department and coordinating basic marketing activities and budgeting as well as project management of campaign production
Advanced Microsoft Office Packages (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills – proficiency in G-Suite/Google workspace advantageous)
Understanding of retail store operations.
Production specifications / substrate knowledge
Budget understanding (Excel / Sheets).
Liaising and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent administrative, organization and planning skills and project management.
Self – driven, confident and decisive. 
Task orientation and leadership capabilities
Communication skills and problem solving / negotiation skills
Valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities:    

To ensure the timeous and effective execution of all marketing campaigns managing times lines and workstreams
To brief various suppliers timeously to deliver window and in-store displays that reflect the visual look for the relevant campaigns.
Liaise with design and VM teams to timeously manage production lead times for campaigns / visual merchandising assets per marketing calendar.
Ensuring that campaign elements are mocked up and signed off by the Marketing Manager timeously, always adhering to the critical path.
Manage costing / quotation processes and PO’s based on quotes accepted by HOD.
To ensure that the correct visual merchandising and equipment is sent to all stores timeously and within budget, pertaining to VM campaigns, store openings, store renovations and store closures.
Manage and lead production supplier relationships.
To maintain and build relationships with the stores, buying department, operations, and suppliers.
Project manage and communicate with marketing / promo teams including operations / stores teams on timing for deliveries.
Management of supplier relationships regards logistics and packing to ensure timeous delivery of campaign / VM assets to stores per marketing calendar.
Briefing and management of merch packing team to meet business requirements.
Management and administrative checks / filing regards store assets (CAPEX assets) to ensure compliance with VM guides / design principles per store.
Communication with store / ops teams to enable assist in replenishing / additional production requirements as per agreed designs / OPS stores support controls.
Monthly input into reporting / input into costs and budgets per campaign / store as required.
General marketing related administrative duties for the brand and Marketing HOD.
