Description

The incumbent would be required to responsible for achieving monthly sales targets as set out by Group Head: Sales and motivating, guiding and sales performance of a team of Account Executives.

Interpersonal and team relationships

Build, support and maintain interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.

Personal development

Complete Individual Development Plan. Attend learning and development courses. Participate in peer and team learning initiatives.

Budget Compliance

Comply with work rules, standards and methods. Take care to minimise waste.

Sales Targets

Ensure monthly targets are met.
Ensure yearly targets are met.

Client Service

Develop strong working relationships with agencies and clients.
Ensure a thorough knowledge of client/s portfolio and their respective brands and target markets.
Ensure timeous negotiations of annual commitments.
Ensure client workshops are planned on a regular basis.
Be responsible for the management of initiating, conceptualizing and presenting sales proposals.
Deliver the highest level of service and professionalism at all times.
Ensure a thorough knowledge of all sales channels programming and market research.

Management

Manage conflict resolution.
Provide ongoing training.
Develop skills relating to targeting new business.
Display strong leadership skills.

Requirements
Qualifications

National Senior Certificate – Essential
National Diploma in Sales, Marketing and/or Business Management

Experience

8 years in Sales Management and/or Marketing within the Media Industry (Operational) – Essential
Driver’s License and Own Vehicle – Essential

Computer literacy

MS Office Suite – Basic

Good understanding of media strategy and media metrics
Good understanding of brands within the eMedia stable
Monthly and annual sales targets are met
