The Sales Manager manages the sales business, incorporating all the dealership’s products and services. This involves attracting and retaining a strong base of satisfied customers by ensuring that a well-motivated and dedicated sales team meets customer expectations. Simultaneously, the manager is responsibe for meeting/exceeding the financial objectives of the dealership and its principals

Minimum Requirements

Proven experience as a sales manager, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
At least 3 years managerial experience as a sales manager
Knowledge of the Mahindra vehicle brand
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly
Customer-focused approach, with a commitment to providing excellent service.

Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Management:

Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales goals and objectives
Conduct market research and competitor analysis
Develop and implement marketing initiatives
Manage a sales team, providing leadership and direction to achieve sales targets
Monitor sales performance and provide coaching and support to improve performance
Establish and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
Conduct resource planning, management and development

Inventory Management:

Oversee the acquisition, stocking, and sale of vehicles
Ensure that inventory is properly priced and presented to maximize sales and profit
Monitor market conditions and adjust pricing and marketing strategies as necessary
Ensure that vehicle presentations and showrooms are always up to standard

Customer Service:

Ensure that customers receive exceptional service throughout the sales process
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business

Financial Management:

Manage the sales budget and ensure that expenses are controlled within established limits
Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve financial goals
Accept responsibility for all relevant sales management reporting (including to manufacturer)
