Purpose

To design, build, manage and execute on the Monitoring and Assessment programmerthat follows a risk-based approach across the Segment through the process of defined standards and operating procedures; to Operationalize monitoring and reporting there on .

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum qualification: Bcomm (Law),Bcomm degree, LLB degree or engineering degree. Diploma incompliance management will be advantageous.
Minimum years of experience: 7 to 10 years’ experience in regulatory risk management .

Responsibilities

Monitor and enforce effective control, governance and compliance procedures n to prevent and reduce financial wastage
Build and maintain relationships with clients, internal and external stake holders that promote cross delivery process and practice solutions
Anticipate and meet the needs andcommit to continuous development and entrenchment of a service culture
Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of functional strategic objectives in partnership with leadership
Ongoing monitoring and identification of training needs
Ensures that emerging legislation and the changes in relevant regulations are appropriately interpreted forimpact analysis, internal policies and practices are aligned accordingly, stake holders are sufficiently informed and enabled to comply (e.g. via communication and education interventions), and implementation of such changesus tracked
Ensure meaningful, timely, conciseand comprehensive reporting of regulatory risks to governance committees and relevant stakeholders
Manage and track Key Risk Indicators(KRI) and report on areas of misalignment
Manage/direct/contribute asappropriate to strategic regulator engagement within area of responsibility
Undertake analysis of management andspecialist information across the organization and develop high level reportsfor strategic decision
Ensure the development and implementation of integrated corporate governance, compliance, integrity andethics frameworks
Define, develop and maintainpolicies, procedures, standards and frameworks to efficiently manage business and provide thought leadership
Continuously assess own performance,seek timely and clear feedback and request development where appropriate
