The role:
We are seeking a talented and seasoned Senior Developer with expert AWS cloud knowledge and IAC using Terraform and EKS. What you’ll do:

Design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications and services leveraging Docker, AWS, Terraform, and EKS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, DevOps engineers, and product owners, to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and secure solutions.
Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and deploy them on AWS EKS clusters.
Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
Drive the implementation and improvement of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, incorporating best practices and automation tools.
Monitor and optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
Conduct code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and provide guidance to junior developers.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for enhancing the development process and suggesting improvements.

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Developer, with a strong focus on Docker, AWS, Terraform, and EKS.
Extensive hands-on experience with Docker, containerization, and microservices architecture.
Proven expertise in architecting, deploying, and managing applications on AWS using services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS and Cloudflare.
Solid understanding of infrastructure as code principles and practical experience with Terraform or other similar tools.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management tasks.
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues in a distributed environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
