Ivanhoe Mines SA (Pty) Ltd is looking for someone who is a Microsoft SharePoint Developer/Administrator position will focus on needs analysis, design, build and go-live in addition to support for a large Microsoft SharePoint environment. The SharePoint developer will design and develop SharePoint websites using SharePoint designer or web UI developing tools. SharePoint is a highly configurable document management and storage system that integrates with Microsoft Office. SharePoint developer will be tasked with creating customized SharePoint solutions for the front-end use.
You will have the following:

Bachelor’s degree in IT related discipline beneficial or equivalent experience NQF level 6/7.
Valid Microsoft Engineer Certificate in server administration or equivalent.
Microsoft Azure Foundation Certification beneficial.
Valid N+ certificate or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License.
5 years proven experience as a SharePoint developer.
Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
High-level coding skills.
Proven working experience in workflow applications (K2, K2 Blackpearl, Ninetex)
Ability to solve complex software issues.
Ability to project manage.
Detail orientated.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication, teamwork and negotiation skills
Familiarity with the main data manipulation languages and the principles of database design
The ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
Good organisational skills
Flexibility and adaptability

Preferably you will have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a similar field at NQF 6 or higher
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: .NET Framework 3.5, Windows Workflow Fnd Applications (MCTS)
SharePoint 2016 Certification
Microsoft SharePoint 2016, Application Development (MCPD)

Meet with project team to review website and application requirements
Set tasks and development goals
Configure the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements
Develop new web components using XML, NET, SQL, and CH
Design, code, and implement scalable applications
Extend SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies
Test and debug code.
Review website interface and software stability
Troubleshoot software issues
Maintain and update SharePoint server environment and associated applications
Grant and maintain permission access based requirements
Provide systems training to staff and customers.
