Large refrigeration supplier based in Somerset West has a vacancy for a Social Media Marketing co-ordinator to grow the footprint of the company nationally and internationally, maintain relationships and maximize sales


Develop and curate compelling, high-quality content for all digital platforms, aligned with the brand identity and messaging
Implement and manage social media accounts, creating and scheduling post, responding to comments, and fostering community engagement.
Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, such as engagement rates, website traffic, and conversion rates, and provide actionable insights to optimise strategies.
Propose and execute data-driven strategies to enhance reach, engagement, and conversion across various digital channels.
Update and maintain website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with ongoing projects.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the digital marketing efforts.
Maximize sales and provide after sales support for key retail customers
Analyze current markets and develop sales plans with the focus on expanding presence and growing sales.
Follow through on enquiries and potential leads.
Develop relationships with current and potential customers.
Conduct site surveys to ensure quotes are accurate and to minimize surprises during installation.
Send relevant product and sales information to customers.
Protect confidentiality and integrity
In partnership with Head Office, generate quotes and obtain HO approval prior to sending quotes to customers.
Close deals with customers.
Send relevant accepted quotation information to Head Office Operations for installation.
Provide after sales service.
Attend monthly meetings with customers to discuss and plan future needs
Sell with integrity and technical competence
Build superior technical knowledge about the company’s products.
Represent the company with unquestionable integrity
Study retail to understand customer needs
Present solutions that customers can count on to drive revenue, consumer interest and lower operational cost
Study the market, keep an eye on competitors, bring innovation ideas to the table
Analyze current markets and potential new markets
Generate reports to monitor monthly sales and to use during meetings with customers
Present market opportunities and competitor news to management as needed


Experience in social media marketing, and sales.
Qualifications beneficial
Minimum qualification Grade 12
IT knowledge and capability: proficiency in computer navigation and Google programs
Willingness to learn and grow with the Company.
Reliable transport to work and valid Driver’s License
Excellent English communication capability
Enjoy working in a team environment.
Positive attitude and ability to work against a deadline.
Passion for staying updated on digital marketing trends, consumer behaviour and industry development
