Summary
Global leader in the engineering industry is looking to employ an Unified Endpoint Management – Technical Specialist.
Location: Pretoria Rosslyn / Menlyn / Midrand and home office on a rotational basis.
Contract up to end of December 2026.
Description
Daily monitoring and resolution of IT Service Management (ITSM) VIP and end-user support requests.
Be responsible for the operations of the enterprise UEM server infrastructure and platform components.
Be responsible for the verification, planning and actioning of maintenance tasks together with other infrastructure teams.
Be responsible for the implementation of system/tool developments in the Integration and Production environments.
Continuously work on improving the operational stability.
Work on automation of platform operations, troubleshooting and maintenance topics.
Interact with an international product team, external providers, vendors and customers.
Work closely with stakeholders, development teams in constantly improving Endpoint Management, VDI and Modern platforms stability and availability.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant IT certifications or Diploma.
Experience in operation and maintenance of Mobile Device Management platforms (VMware Workspace One, Microsoft Intune).
Experience in operation of physical and virtual Linux Servers and/or Windows Servers.
Experience in Windows Client OS, GPO and patch management.
Experience with Active Directory/Azure Active Directory.
Experience in troubleshooting infrastructure, network and integration issues.
Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change and Problem management).
Plan and execute maintenance tasks (change management).
Experience with VIP and End-user support.
Experience with technical documentation, standard operating procedures and user support guides.
Experience with Scripting (Powershell or Bash etc.)
Experience with SQL (MS, Oracle etc.)
At least 5 years relevant experience.
