Job Purpose
Support the formulation of the communication framework in support of the Integrated Marketing and Communication Strategy and see it through to implementation.
Job Responsibilities
Analyze and report on all aspects of communications coverage and impact by managing; coordinating and ensuring effective implementation of measurement and tracking tools to ensure success of delivery.
Meet relevant communications guidelines to fulfil the Nedbank brand and trademark policy.
Verbal and written engagement with internal and external stakeholders that promote the brand/CVP/EVP/product/service in support of the communications; marketing and business strategies and objectives.
Apply knowledge and understanding of the business context to ensure credible and effective internal and external communication with stakeholders.
Develop and/or assist the development of communications strategies across the applicable/relevant spectrum of communications disciplines including: reputation management; media; public relations; internal communications; brand marketing; advertising; marketing; digital; social media and new media and production of materials to deliver on business objectives.
Apply integrated communications by using the relevant communications channels to enhance the communications mix and drive value.
Apply knowledge of the communications field; industry and trends by providing advice; inputs and recommendations on business strategies; marketing initiatives and plans and campaigns.
Drive vision for product plain language and content across customer journeys.
Drive alignment on style, voice and tone across channels.
Collaborating with multi-discipline practitioners and project stakeholders.
Define and document standards, patterns, principles and processes to establish a unified approach to communications.
All content to align to our brand strategy, essence and promise.
Producing content that grows share of voice through always on content, online financial education, thought leadership pieces and social media.
Manage projects and copy requests from across the business, prioritizing tasks and managing approvals.
Influence and adapt to stakeholder feedback.
Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values.
Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities.

Minimum Experience Level
8 – 10 years in Communications and 3 – 5 years in management preferably in Financial Services and experience in copywriting.
